Bullying

 I am throwing this log on the fire for the sake of awareness. This story is about a beautiful young lady from New Jersey . She was beaten in the hallway of her school and video's were made of her beating and posted on social media. The attackers that beat her taunted her with these video's leading her to take her own life.

I thought that we were past this. Years ago there was a wave of these incidents happening in schools across America and people lashed out against this. School officials set up programs and protocol's in schools to prevent this from happening . So what happen here? 

According to the The New York Post and ABC Nightly News, after the beating,
Adriana Kuch, was taken to the nurses office not the hospital. The school didn't even call the police. To my understanding very little action was taken by the school until after Adriana suffered harassment, and humiliation from her classmates leading her to take her own life. 

In the aftermath of her death 2 female students have been suspended from school and now are faced with criminal charges. 

Here is just one of the comments from a viewer to the above video : 

 "Where are the parents of the attackers??? They should be cooperating fully with the school and local authorities and at the very least apologizing in person to this father for what their child did. There should also be a law that people that torment someone so horribly, that they are driven to suicide, MUST be made to attend the funeral. Witness what your actions led to and beg the family for forgiveness."

I could not agree more. This is a tragedy. The school should have sent this girl to the hospital. The police should have been called immediately, and the attackers should have been pulled from class and suspended immediately following this incident not after their actions resulted in death. 

If you are a parent to a teenager then you know what a distraction a cellphone can be for your teenager. Can someone please tell me why cellphones are even allowed in our schools? I don't want to hear how kids need their phones in case of an emergency: That is an excuse . When I was in highschool cellphones didn't even exist. If there was an emergency I was called to the office and given a message. Having a cellphone for a teenager is a privilege not a requirement. Our children are spoiled enough they do not need these devices while in school being educated. 

The one thing that really impressed me about this story was the fact that the other students in the school recognized that what had happened to this poor girl was not right and they took a stand by walking out of school and protesting. 

The most valuable asset in America today is our children. They are the future of what America is going to be when us old folks are dead and gone. Don't you think that it's time we start thinking about that and do everything in our power to protect them ? It starts in the home with how we raise them, what we expose them to , and the moral values that we bestow in them . But once they reach school age we have to trust the education system to be a positive influence and carry on with the molding of our children's futures. Do you trust the educators in your child's school to do this? It is their responsibility to protect our kids while in their care. 

This school failed this girl, they did not protect her. The didn't even take action until after Adriana had taken her own life. This could have been prevented if the school had called the police, had sent this girl to the hospital, if they had removed these attackers from the premises, or had a policy in place to prevent cellphones in the building . 

My prayers go out to Adriana's family.

Parents Taking The Wheel....

Changing it up today with a repeat. I know that I have already talked about transgender sports in our public school . This topic is the subject that lead me to starting this blog so that folks like me would have a place to speak freely about sensitive topics like this one. 

Transgender & Sports was posted January 24 for those of you that would like to hear my views on the topic . My reason for revisiting this subject is because I stumbled over this video this morning and had a halleluiah, Amen , and thank you Jesus moment. and I thought I would share it  with you .  

Finally, parents are starting to speak out about this .  I absolutely love how this father says I do not want a man swimming against my daughter in the pool . He doesn't say, "transgenders," he straight up calls it like it is. He makes it very clear that he is not going to allow his daughter to play in sports where she will be competing against boys. He stands before the school board and he tells them that his daughter isn't going to be roughed up by boys at school.  At no time does he plead with this school board to not let this continue . Instead he stands there and tells them how it is going to be pertaining to his child. And ends his time before them with a statement to other parents saying that policy needs to go back to the parents. All I can say is Amen. 

Now lets throw a log on the fire...

What do you think would happen to this transgender movement throughout our public schools if every parent that felt this way stood up and said no? No, my daughter is not going to play on this team with boys! No, my daughter is not going to play against female teams that have boys!  What do you think the outcome of that would be? I feel as though it would force the school boards to stop this nonsense . 

At no point during this fathers time at the podium did he say , " transgender. " He called these individuals out for what they are . THEY ARE BOYS ! They are boys playing female sports. 

Now this does not mean that these boys can not go to school dressed like girls or expressing their sexuality the way they feel inside personally, but at the end of the day they are still boys. 

I no longer have kids in the public school system and I thank God for that . But if I did I would be in line right behind this father doing everything in my power to put a stop to this.

I don't understand how the parents of these boys that identify as "transgender" allow their sons to participate in girl sports in the first place. How does this happen ? I have a son, he's grown now and serves our country in the United States Army. When he was in high school he played basketball. If he had come to me and said he was gay, I would have excepted it and loved him for who he was . If he came to me and said he wanted to identify as a girl I would have let him go through that stage in his life and still loved him for who he was. But at anytime, if he had come to me and said I want to play basketball with the girls I would have put my foot down and said NO. Because as a parent it would have been my responsibility to protect him from the scrutiny of doing so. It would have been my responsibility to recognize the unfairness of my son competing against the opposite sex in sports.

WOKE School Lunch Menu BACKFIRES!

Black History Month is being celebrated throughout the United States but apparently it's offensive during this month to serve fried chicken and watermelon to children in public schools. 😑

I know that I post a lot from Officer Tatum, he's a straight shooter much like myself so I'm attracted to his channel and what he has to say .  This story isn't just a small thing that one man in Phoenix Arizona was tuned into it is actually being talked about across the United States and in the UK.

And the list goes on.....

So here's what gets me about this story. First the girl being interviewed says that she thought it was strange that the school served watermelon , which she claimed is something the school never has done. She goes on to say that watermelon is out of season. This young lady is in middle school and lives in New York. I may be wrong , maybe she lives on a farm and her family grows produce but I have 6 grandchildren and have raised 3 children myself and I can tell you that most children this girls age do not know when watermelon is in season. Not that this point makes any difference , then entire situation is absolutely ridiculous . 

In the video from Officer Tatum there is an interview done from what I assume is a local news channel. The person being interview says, " If they had served chicken and waffles by themself I don't know if we would be having this conversation, but the moment you add in the watermelon that changed the whole complexion."  😐 Yes he really said that. Who would have thought that watermelon being served with fried chicken during Black History month would raise such a controversy? 

What I find even more comical is the fact that the menu for that day was originally suppose to be philly cheese steak , broccoli, and fresh fruit.  The news channel reporting this story actually showed pictures of the original menu and then called the switch in the menu a "racially sensitive lunch option."

Ok now it's time to get real, I'm going to throw a log on the fire. First of all I do not feel as though serving fried chicken and watermelon is a racially sensitive lunch option just because it was served during Black History month. That would be like saying you can't serve pizza and spaghetti during Italian month, or chow Mein noodles during Asian month. Let's not forget taco's on Hispanic month .... oh wait we don't recognize any of these other nationalities but we do recognize Black History month...hmm. 

In the interview the young girl expresses that she hopes this never happens again. She never wants fried chicken and watermelon served at her school again . I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that serving this meal was so stressful to this child that it became frontline news. 

The level of sensitivity in this country is ridiculous. The fact that this story even made frontline news is hilarious. Tatum called in when he says , " slavery is done, its been gone...we are so past slavery."  

I have a Hispanic grandson that is in public school. Should my daughter keep him home from school on taco Tuesday's because he is being served a racially sensitive lunch option?

I'm not sure what it is exactly, I think its Our President trying to convince us that gas prices aren't on the rise, people in America can afford to buy food, and China isn't controlling our country. Or it's a poor Senior citizen that suffers from dementia and is being exploited by his staff . If I was our First Lady I would have put a stop to this a long time ago. It's clear to most of America that our president's mental health is in question. If this isn't the stupidest thing that he could say days after China floats a spy balloon over half our country then I don't know what is. 

This country is a mess ! I can't honestly think of one "Great" thing that Biden has done since he stepped into the White House. From everyday living expenses going up to putting us deeper in debt to support other countries at war while the one he is actually suppose to be leading is falling apart. 

God help us...

Don't take my word for it, read the comments from people across our nation lashing out at this fool for being a dumb ass . 

We are MORE in debt now then when Biden first took office and we still have 2yrs to go with this administration . And the worse part is that if Biden were by chance to admit himself into a nursing home where he belongs the runner up for his job is even worse.

China Is Coming... Are We Ready??

 

I thought I would start this week off with a bang....

What is our President thinking? I watched a report about this balloon from China floating over our Military bases and thought , " WOW really ? Are we are just going to sit and watch this and not shoot it down?" It took almost 3 days for our government to destroy this thing and all the while its floating over our military bases gathering information while America sat and watched it float . Does this seem wrong to any of you ??? 

My entire life I've been made to believe that the American Military was the strongest force in the world. I always thought that I lived in a safe nation, that the reason that so many people in the world fought to to migrate here was because they wanted somewhere safe to live and to be free to live the way that they wanted. How is it that one of our biggest enemies has been allowed to send surveillance balloons across the ocean and through the United States and we just watched it happen ?

Please if you have time today read the above links. It appalls me to think that the above topics are a focus of the United States Military and not a threat to our country . 

 I remember when I was proud to be an American. There was a time when I didn't have to fear of an invasion from enemy countries because America was strong and independent and our military was able to protect me and my children. Everyone remembers 911. When we were attacked by Bin Laden there was not one moment of hesitation.  We fought back , we attacked , we hunted then down and showed them the rath of the American people. So can someone please tell me how China was allowed to send this balloon over American soil and we all just sat back and watched it happen? How does this happen? 

Are you aware of how much land China owns here in the U.S.A? Are you aware of the fact that most products sold in the United States are made in China? China controls our economy, and now is purchasing our land , how long do you think it will be before they are actually here completely taking over. We are no longer the home of the free, the idea of free American is slowly being taken from us.
